Exportul de mărfuri moldoveneşti în containere prin portul Giurgiuleşti a crescut cu 20%

Potrivit companiei Danube Logistics (investitorul general şi operatorul portului), în prima jumătate a lui 2016, prin port au fost transbordate 3350 de containere, ceea ce este cu 20% mai mult decât în anul trecut. Principalele elemente de export în containere în semestrul I al anului 2016 au fost produsele cerealiere, băuturile alcoolice, lemnul și produsele din sticlă, care au fost livrate către Myanmar (24%), Indonezia (22%), Malaezia (21%), Irak (9%), Statele Unite ale Americii (8%) și în alte țări. Cel mai mare volum de importuri în containere au fost: tehnica electronică, materialele de construcții, anvelopele, detergenții și diverse bunuri de larg consum. Importurile de mărfuri transbortate în containere au fost din China (63%), precum și Turcia, Spania, Argentina, Israel și alte țări. Mărfurile au fost transbortate în containere prin portul Giurgiulești în colaborare cu cele mai mari linii de transport maritim de containere din lume. În afară de aceasta, prin terminalul de mărfuri generale a portului au fost transbordate 290 mii de tone metrice în vrac: 150 de mii de tone de cereale, 104 de tone de petrol, 23 de tone de materiale de construcții și circa 10 mii de tone de ulei vegetal. Investiţiile în portul Giurgiuleşti, din momentul înfiinţării, se cifrează la $64,8 mln. O mare parte a investiţiilor în portul Giurgiuleşti - $49,5 mln a fost efectuară de investitorul principal al portului Giurgiuleşti, compania Danube Logistics, ai căror beneficiari economici finali sunt Banca Europeană pentru Reconstrucție și Dezvoltare și compania olandeză Danube Logistics Holding BV. Mari investitori mai sunt: Trans Cargo Terminal, care a construit şi administrează terminalul cerealier, în care au fost investite $8,9 mln; Trans BulkLogistics - $4,2 mln; Arbomax - $0,9 mln; Iunasistem - $0,7 mln, Dunav-Tir - $0,5 mln, etc. Conform situaţiei din aprilie, în port erau înregistraţi 59 de rezidenţi ce deţin 94 de autorizaţii pentru diferite genuri de activitate: 34 pentru comerţ angro, 25 – pentru prestarea serviciilor, 17 – pentru activităţi de transport, 7 – pentru construcţii, 11 – pentru alte genuri de activitate. Numărul angajaţilor companiilor rezidente depăşea 400 de oameni, iar cei mai mulţi angajaţi activează la companiile Danube Logistics (163), Trans Cargo Terminal (91) şi Trans Bulk Logistics (53).
