În perioada de vară hotarul de stat au traversat peste 6 mil. de persoane

În perioada estivală, la frontiera de stat au fost înregistrate peste 6 mil. de traversări, cu aproximativ 10 la sută mai mult decât în vara anului trecut. Datele Poliţiei de Frontieră arată că şi numărul traversărilor mijloacelor de transport este în creştere cu 17 la sută faţă de 2015. Din numărul total de intrări şi ieşiri înregistrate la punctele de trecere a frontierei, aproximativ 4 mil. au fost realizate de cetăţeni moldoveni, iar peste 2 mil. de către străini. Cel mai mare flux de pasageri s-a înregistrat în luna august, atunci când moldovenii îşi planifică cele mai multe vacanţe peste hotare. Punctul de trecere a frontierei moldo-române Leuşeni-Albiţa a fost cea mai solicitată vamă în perioada estivală. În cele trei luni de vară, la postul vamal s-au înregistrat peste 877 mii de traversări. Pe locul doi se află vama Otaci de la frontieră cu Ucraina şi Aeroportul Internaţional Chişinău, unde au fost înregistrate peste 750 mii de traversări. Un număr mare de tranzitări, 643 mii, a fost semnalat şi la punctul de trecere a frontierei Sculeni, iar la vămile de la Giurgiuleşti şi Palanca au fost înregistratepeste 457 mii şi, respectiv, 406 mii de traversări.
