BEI își va spori prezența în Moldova

Banca Europeană de Investiții (BEI) își va deschide o reprezentanță în Republica Moldova. Acordul privind deschiderea și acordarea imunităților și privilegiilopr corespunzătoare a fost semnat vineri de prim-ministrul Chiril Gaburici și vicepreşedintele BEI, Wilhelm Molterer. Potrivit premierului, această reprezentanță va oferi Republicii Moldova mai multe avantaje, precum ar fi accesul la diferite oportunități și proiecte noi din partea BEI, avansarea în relațiile cu comunitatea europeană și realizarea obiectivului de integrare europeană. Guvernul apreciază proiectele finanțate de BEI în domeniile construcției drumurilor, energetic, în domeniul agricullturii. Dar Moldova și-ar dori ca BEI să susțină financiar implementarea unor proiecte de dezvoltare a întreprinderilor mici și mijlocii, de protecție a mediului și în alte domenii, – a relevat Chiril Gaburici. Wilhelm Molterer a menționat că, în Moldova, sunt în proces de realizare cele mai multe proiecte, finanțate de BEI. Vom susține în continuare procesul de tranziție al Republicii Moldova, precum și perspectiva europeană a acestei țări. Vom continua să oferim suport în domeniul infrastructurii, agriculturii, vom identifica posibilități de a susține și proiecte de dezvoltare a întreprinderilor mici și mijlocii, despre care vorbea premierul. Deschiderea reprezentanței BEI la Chișinău va permite să identificăm mai repede proiectele necesare pentru dezvoltarea Moldovei. Iar colaboratorii reprezentanței vor oferi asistența tehnică necesară în implementarea proiectelor, - a specificat vicepreședintele BEI. Moldova a semnat cu BEI 13 acorduri de finanţare. Valoarea acestora este de 550 mil. euro.
