Consultanță din partea României în domeniul protecției consumatorilor

Ministerul Agriculturii și Industriei Alimentare va beneficia de consultanța conducerii Autorității Naționale pentru Protecția Consumatorilor din România în promovarea proiectului de Lege privind informarea consumatorilor cu privire la produsele alimentare. Directorul general Direcţia Generală Control şi Supraveghere Piaţă şi Armonizare Europeană, Paul Silviu Anghel și secretarul general Mihaela Irina Ionescu au avut luni, 04 aprilie, întrevederi cu ministrul Agriculturii și Industriei Alimentare Eduard Grama și cu viceministrul Vasile Luca. Pentru noi este foarte important suportul de care vom beneficia. România a depășit această etapă și poate să vină cu unele sfaturi. Avem multe de învățat, a menționat ministrul Eduard Grama. Partea română a exprimat disponibilitatea de a oferi suportul necesar ce ține de consultanță pe domeniul protecției consumatorilor. Conducerea Autorității Naționale pentru Protecția Consumatorilor din România se va mai întâlni cu reprezentanți ai Agenției pentru Protecția Consumatorilor și ai Agenției Naționale pentru Siguranța Alimentelor. Directorul general Direcţia Generală Control şi Supraveghere Piaţă şi Armonizare Europeană, Paul Silviu Anghel și secretarul general Mihaela Irina Ionescu vor lua parte la dezbaterile publice asupra proiectului de Lege privind informarea consumatorilor cu privire la produsele alimentare, care vor avea loc miercuri, 6 aprilie, ora 9:00, bir. 405, Ministerul Agriculturii și Industriei Alimentare. Documentul stabileşte baza legală pentru asigurarea unui înalt nivel de protecție a consumatorului în domeniul informațiilor referitoare la produsele alimentare, luând în considerare diferențele de percepție ale consumatorilor și nevoia acestora de a fi informați, asigurând în același timp buna funcționare a pieței interne. Scopul prezentului proiect de Lege constă în asigurarea unui nivel ridicat de protecție a sănătății consumatorilor și garantarea dreptului acestora la informare prin etichetarea corectă a produselor alimentare, care trebuie să-i asigure cu informații corespunzătoare privind produsele alimentare pe care le consumă.
