Facilitarea și securizarea comerțului între statele GUAM

Georgia, Ucraina, Azerbaidjan și Moldova vor efectua un schimb de specimene ale documentelor vamale și mijloacelor de identificare vamală, precum și un schimb de informații privind modul de aplicare a acestora. Guvernul, în ședința din 26 iulie curent, a susținut aprobarea unui protocol ce prevede eficientizarea interacțiunii și coordonării activității administrațiilor vamale din statele-membre ale GUAM, în vederea facilitării și securizării comerțului internațional. Actualitatea protocolului reiese din importanța dezvoltării activității economice dintre țările GUAM, iar documentul prevede consolidarea relațiilor de colaborare și asistența reciprocă dintre administrația vamală ale statelor membre GUAM pentru eficientizarea și facilitarea controlului vamal și a procedurilor vamale, reducerea timpului de vămuire și de trecere a frontierei, a explicat ministrul Finanțelor, Octavian Armașu. Scopul final al protocolului constă în crearea condițiilor favorabile pentru facilitarea comerțului internațional și protecția intereselor economice ale statelor membre, a mai declarat ministrul. Conform documentului, Protocolul dintre administrațiile vamale ale statelor-membre ale GUAM cu privire la recunoașterea reciprocă a anumitor rezultate ale procedurilor vamale în privința mărfurilor și mijloacelor de transport deplasate peste frontierele de stat ale statelor-membre ale GUAM a fost întocmit la Kiev, la 27 martie 2017. Tratatul va avea un impact pozitiv asupra protecției intereselor economice ale Republicii Moldova și dezvoltării economiei țării. În același timp reiterăm că Comerţul din cadrul GUAM va fi monitorizat. NOTĂ: GUAM este o inițiativă regională a patru state, denumirea ei provine de la inițialele statelor fondatoare: Georgia, Ucraina, Azerbaidjan și Moldova. Inițial, erau cinci state (Uzbekistan), iar această organizație se numea GUUAM. Prioritățile cooperării în cadrul GUUAM au fost stabilite ca fiind aprofundarea și extinderea relațiilor comercial-economice, dezvoltarea infrastructurii coridoarelor de transport, prin armonizarea bazei legislative și instituționale în acest domeniu și racordarea termenilor tarifari și vamali, securitatea internațională, lupta cu terorismul internațional, crima organizata, migrarea ilegală și traficul de droguri.
