Relațiile bilaterale moldo - georgiene prevăd evitarea dublei impuneri

Cabinetul de miniștri a aprobat semnarea Convenției dintre Guvernul Republicii Moldova și Guvernul Georgiei pentru evitarea dublei impuneri și prevenirea evaziunii fiscale cu privire la impozitele pe venit și a Protocolului adițional al Convenției. Convenția își propune să impulsioneze relațiile economice bilaterale dintre Republica Moldova și Georgia pe domeniul eliminării dublei impuneri a persoanelor fizice și juridice, cât și să contribuie la atragerea investițiilor. În cadru primei runde de negocieri pe marginea proiectului Convenției, structurate pe 28 articole, care a avut loc la Chișinău, s-a convenit asupra aplicării impozitului asupra dobânzilor, dividendelor, precum și în cazul royalty. Pe toate aspectele părțile au ajuns la un numitor comun. Semnarea Convenției va permite schimbul rapid de informați și coordonarea acțiunilor statelor contractante, eliminarea discriminării fiscale sub orice formă, fapt care va asigura condiții favorabile de efectuare a activităților economice externe și de consolidare a relațiilor economice. Convenția și Protocolul adițional urmează să fie semnată din partea RM de către ministrul finanțelor Octavian Armașu și va intra în vigoare după ultima notificare privind îndeplinirea procedurilor interne de către părți. În context reamintim că Moldova are semnate convenții sau acorduri privind evitarea dublei impuneri cu 48 de state. Nici un stat nu a cerut denunțarea acestui document. În ce privește relațiile economice cu Georgia este de menționat, că, în acest an, în aprilie, la Tbilisi a avut loc prima ședință a Comisiei interguvernamen-tale mixte moldo – georgiene pentru cooperare economică. S-a convenit ca părțile să colaboreze în domeniul promovării și intensificării exporturilor, inclusiv prin identificarea unor terțe piețe, elaborării proiectelor comune în domeniul agriculturii, încurajării sectorului privat din ambele țării şi, desigur, în domeniul realizării, la modul practic, a angajamentelor de integrare europeană.
