S2 va spori securitatea în vamă

Compania americană S2 Global, specializată în furnizarea de tehnologii pentru inspecția vehiculelor și a bagajelor în vamă, are intenţia să-și extindă activitatea în Republica Moldova şi a fost anunțată în cadrul unei întrevederi cu premierul Pavel Filip. Antreprenorii din SUA au informat că dispun și de soluții IT ce permit depistarea la hotar a mărfurilor interzise, cum ar fi armele și stupefiantele, dar și contracararea contrabandei cu țigări. Prim-ministrul Pavel Filip a menționat că Guvernul pune accent pe implementarea tehnologiilor noi, fapt ce va permite eficientizarea activității instituțiilor statului, reducerea corupției, dar și sporirea încasărilor la buget. „Corupția poate fi eradicată doar prin tehnologii și limitarea intervenției directe a oamenilor. Multe persoane sunt tentate să-și organizeze în așa fel lucrul, încât să existe posibilități pentru a estorca mită. Ideea e simplă: cu cât mai multe probleme le creează persoanelor care traversează frontiera, cu atât mai mari sunt șansele să încaseze mită”, a spus Pavel Filip, inclusiv în contextul verificărilor de săptămâna trecută la vama Leușeni-Albița. În condițiile în care circa 60% din activitatea S2 Global este axată pe elaborarea de soft, reprezentanții companiei s-au arătat interesați de beneficiile pe care le oferă „Moldova IT Park”. Pavel Filip a menționat că Parcul IT, lansat la 1 ianuarie 2018, are deja peste 240 de rezidenți. „Principalul avantaj este impozitul unic de 7%. Se face abstracție de birocrație, corupție și alte bariere, nu ai nicio interacțiune cu instituțiile statului, există reguli transparente și clare”, a menţionat premierul. Prim-ministrul a solicitat companiei ca, în comun cu autoritățile naționale cu competențe în domeniu, să elaboreze un mecanism pentru implementarea în Republica Moldova a soluțiilor ce permit sporirea securității la frontieră.
