Securitatea IT în Moldova: ce pericole ascunde spațiul virtual?

Directorul general al ÎS „Centrul de Telecomunicații Speciale”, Serghei Popovici a acordat un interviu portalului Tribuna în care a vorbit despre importanța Centrului pentru Securitatea Cibernetică, situația actuală în domeniul securității IT în țară, precum și cele mai bune practici de asigurare a securității informaționale. Întrebat care este situația la moment din punctul de vedere al securității IT, el a menționat că situația în domeniul securității IT în rețelele guvernamentale din Republica Moldova în ultimii ani este caracterizată de o evoluție cantitativă și calitativă a anumitor categorii de incidente de securitate cibernetică. Referindu-se la amenințările pe care ascunde spațiul virtual, Directorul general CTS a menționat de importanța securizării online, și a dat exemplu de un caz recent: Vorbind de importanța protecției informației, aș vrea să aduc un exemplu un caz recent, cînd un malware de tip Trojan amenința informația stocată pe calculatoare. Este vorba de malware-ul «CTB Locker». «CTB Locker» urmărește în prim plan interesul financiar, ransomware-ul criptează informația stocată și amenință cu distrugerea acesteia, în caz că nu se achită recompensa solicitată în decurs de 72 de ore. Din experiență globală, chiar dacă recompensa este achitată, recuperarea informației nu este întotdeauna garantată. Infectarea cu acest tip de virus, de cele mai dese ori, are loc prin e-mailurile de tip phishing, care arată identic unor mesaje de corespondență oficială. Astfel, la accesarea atașamentului fie .exe, .scr, .com, sau .bat, are loc prima fază de infectare a calculatorului. După ce soft-ul se instala pe calculator, acesta urma să se conecteze la serverul răufăcătorului pentru a descărca virusul propriu-zis. Amenințarea «CTB Locker» este doar un exemplu dintre numeroasele riscuri online existente, care explică importanța utilizării practicilor minime de securizare în spațiul digital, atît pentru utilizatorii de rînd, cît și pentru organizații, a declarat Serghei Popovici.
