Tichete de masă pe suport de hârtie sau card?

Tichete de masă pot fi acordate de către angajatori salariaților angajați legal în câmpul muncii, conform Legii tichetelor de masă. Salariații le pot utiliza pentru a achita masa de prânz sau pentru a cumpăra produse alimentare din rețeaua de magazine partenere a operatorului (Edenred), iar sumele aferente tichetelor de masă sunt scutite integral de taxe și impozite. Angajatorii pot alege dacă solicită tichete pe suport de hârtie și/sau carduri. Tichetele pe suport de hârtie ar putea să fie acceptate de mai mulți comercianți deoarece nu necesită existența unui POS pentru procesarea tranzacțiilor la fiecare punct de vânzare. În schimb operațiunile cu tichetele de masă pe suport de hârtie necesită un efort adițional de verificare, evidență, stocare, procesare atât la angajator, cât la comerciant și operator. Tichetele de masă pe suport de hârtie oferă o flexibilitate mai redusă la efectuarea plăților pentru produse alimentare cu valoarea mai mică decât valoarea nominală a tichetului – comercianții fiind limitați prin lege în posibilitatea de a oferi rest. La plata pentru cumpărături de produse alimentare sau prânzuri cu carduri cu tichete de masă pot fi efectuate tranzacții de orice valoare în limita fondurilor disponibile. Suplimentar, față de posibilitatea plaților flexibile, cardurile de tichete de masă oferă și importante avantaje logistice pentru angajatori datorită valabilității de patru ani a cardului, simplității încărcării acestora la început de fiecare perioadă și eforturilor mult mai mici de operare și evidență a tranzacțiilor, păstrând în același timp toate facilități fiscale a tichetelor de masă pe suport de hârtie. Au de câștigat și comercianții – datorită eforturilor mult mai mici pentru procesare, stocare, dar și unei proceduri de rambursare mult mai simplificate și rapide.
