Cum recunosti un angajat incompetent

Incompetenta angajatilor este o problema pe care o intampina toti angajatorii, indiferent de domeniu. Laurence J Peter, un profesor canadian specializat in sociologie ierarhica, a identificat o serie de comportamente specifice si manifestari psihologice ale celor care nu dau randament la locul de munca. In ceea ce priveste indiciile comportamentale ale instaurarii incompetentei, Laurence Peter mentioneaza: “Fonofilia” – instalarea pe birou a mai multor telefoane, mijloace de comunicaţie, pe care eventual le si foloseste simultan, pentru ca se plange ca nu poate tine un contact suficient de strans cu colegii si subordonatii “Papirofobia” –„are un birou curat”, fara hartii si carti pe masa sa de lucru, sperand sa dea impresia ca face ceea ce trebuie “Papiromania” – pastreaza pe masa un maldar de hartii si carti rareori folosite, vrand sa dea impresia ca are prea mult de lucru “Clasofilia” - mania pentru aranjare si clasarea precisa a hartiilor, combinata de obicei cu teama exagerata dea nu pierde vreun document “Gigantismul tabulator” – obsesia de a avea un birou mai mare decat colegii “Tabulofobia” – excluderea completa a meselor de lucru din birou Daca vorbim de manifestari psihologice, atingerea nivelului de incompetent aduce: “Autocompatimirea” – „nimeni nu ma apreciază cu adevarat”, „nimeni nu colaboreaza cu mine”, “nimeni nu intelege cat de greu imi este sa-mi fac bine treaba”. Aceasta compatimire se combina cu amintirea vremurilor trecute cand lucra pe un nivel de competent “Rigor cartis” – o preocupare anormala pentru elaborarea de organigrame, grafice şi diagrame de tot felul, ce trebuie urmate cu strictete indiferent de intarzierile sau pierderile ce ar putea aparea pe urma acestei inflexibilitati “Imprevizibilitatea voită” – mascarea nesigurantei printr-o atitudine defensiva. “Sindromul cumpenei” - o totala incapacitate de a lua deciziile corespunzatoare postului si cauta justificari diverse pentru indecizia sa.
