Pentru a-și satisface nevoile raționale și a-și asigura un trai decent pentru sine și familia sa, salariatul ar trebui să fie remunerat pentru munca depusă cu 18 mii 550 de lei lunar. La această concluzie au ajuns autorii ”Metodologiei de estimare a costului forței de muncă în Republica Moldova”, elaborată de sindicate, în comun cu specialiştii Institutului Naţional de Cercetări Economice. La elaborarea metodologiei s-au luat în calcul costul pentru alimentație, pentru îmbrăcăminte și încălțăminte, serviciile comunale, serviciile medicale, contribuțiile de asigurări sociale și medicale, procurarea unei locuințe, a unui automobil, dar și alți indicatori. Astfel, pentru asigurarea nivelului rațional de trai al familiei, formate din 4 membri – doi adulți salariați și doi copii – sunt necesare 37 de mii de lei lunar. Bugetul minimului de consum actual îi permite salariatului doar să supraviețuiască, nu și să ducă un trai decent, potrivit sindicaliştilor. Conform datelor statisticii oficiale, salariul mediu în luna iunie a fost de 5170 de lei. Costul mediu lunar al forței de muncă pentru un salariat, calculat de Biroul Național de Statistică, include doar costul forței de muncă suportat de către angajator.În timp ce salariul minim pe ţară este de 1000 de lei sau circa 45 de euro, în ţările din vecinătate acesta este de câteva ori mai mare: România – 276 de euro, Bulgaria – 215 euro, Ucraina – de circa 50 de euro. Minimul de existenţă pentru persoanele apte de muncă a constituit anul trecut – 1842 lei, depăşind salariul minim pe ţară de 1,8 ori.Fiind sub valoarea pragului de sărăcie şi a minimului de existenţă, nivelul salariului minim nu oferă cetăţenilor posibilitatea de a se asigura prin propria muncă cu minimul necesar pentru viaţă.
