Ministrul Finanțelor explică motivul aprecierii leului față de dolar și dacă această evoluție poate afecta veniturile bugetare în acest an. Unii experți susțin că aprecierea leului față de dolar, care a avut loc în ultima perioadă, va provoca pierderi de miliarde de lei pentru bugetul țării noastre. Ministrul Finanțelor, Octavian Armașu este de altă părere. „În primul rând, în 2017 toate accizele au fost trecute din euro în lei. În acest caz veniturile la buget nu sunt afectate de fluctuațiile valutare. Mai mult ca atât, încasările la buget sunt în creștere, astfel avem la moment o ușoară depășire a estimărilor pentru anul curent”, susține Octavian Armașu. „Eu nu văd probleme privind încasările la buget din impozite și taxe. Aprecierea crează anumite probleme exportatorilor, dar situația este legată de cererea și oferta de pe piață. Noi avem o situație fără precedent, când intrările de valută în țară depășesc cu mult cererea de valută, pentru că au crescut exporturile, iar consumurile cresc mai lent. Avem o ofertă de valută care depășește cu mult cererea, fapt ce duce la aprecierea leului. Cred că este un fenomen sezonier, care se va stabiliza la un anumit moment. Poate chiar vom avea și un trend invers. La moment asta e situația și Banca Națională are o politică de targhetare a inflației, iar cursul valutar este unul liber pe care îl stabilește piața”, menționează Ministrul Finanțelor. El susține că există o anumită diminuare a încasărilor de TVA pentru mărfurile importate în dolari, însă per total veniturile bugetului sunt în creștere. De remarcat că leul s-a apreciat semnificativ față de dolar în ultimele luni și a ajuns puțin peste 18 lei.
