Misiunea FMI, cu care va fi negociat un nou program de colaborare cu Republica Moldova ar putea sosi la Chișinău în luna mai, a menționat în emisiunea ”Replica” de TV Prime Ministrul finanțelor Octavian Armașu. El a spus că după misiunea de evaluare a Fondului, care s-a aflat în Moldova în februarie s-a convenit că să fie înaintată către FMI solicitarea de a negocia un nou program de colaborare cu Fondul Monetar Internațional. Nu ne-au fost impuse condiții, pachetul de legi, care să asigure independența BNM a fost aprobat, tarifele la resursele energetice revăzute. Misiunea FMI a solicitat finalizarea auditului, mai bine zis diagnosticului la alte trei bănci, care se află sub supravegherea specială a BNM și elaborare unei strategii, ce ar elimina vulnerabilitățile (e vorba de asigurarea transparenței acționarilor). Noi nu vedem probleme serioase la aceste trei bănci. Vom merge împreună cu noul Guvernator al BNM în această lună la Washington la o reuniune a FMI, voi avea mai multe întâlniri cu persoane de rang înalt de la FMI și sperăm că în mai va sosi în Moldova misiunea FMI cu care vom începe negocierile asupra unui nou program de colaborare , a specificat Armașu. În ce privește creditul de 150 mil de euro, promis de fi acordat Republicii Moldova de către Romania și cât de repede va ajunge la Chișinău, Armașu a spus că după aprobarea repetată a acestuia de către Camera Deputaților, urmează a să fie a aprobat și de Senatul României. E în funcție de cât de rapid va fi procesul legislativ în Parlamentul României. Una pot să spun că prima tranșă (60 mil de euro, precum s-a anunțat anterior) va fi utilizată pentru acoperirea datoriilor pe vare le are Bugetul de Stat din anul trecut față de unele categorii de agenți economici, cât și pentru finanțarea celor mai stringente programe, aflate pe agenda Guvernului , a mai adăugat Armașu.
