Cele trei bănci aflate sub supravegherea specială a Băncii Naţionale a Moldovei (BNM) înregistrează progrese în calitatea managementului corporativ, susţine guvernatorul BNM, Sergiu Cioclea. Într-un interviu el a spus că BNM va evalua situaţia la celelalte bănci când va efectua controale complexe pe teren în decursul anului 2017. După cum ştiţi, ne-am angajat să efectuăm aceste controale la toate băncile locale până la sfârşitul anului curent, a menţionat guvernatorul BNM. Întrebat cât va mai dura supravegherea externă introdusă de BNM la trei cele mai mari bănci din ţară – „Moldova Agroindbank”, „Moldindconbank” şi „Victoriabank”, el a spus: Dacă e să vorbim despre „Moldova-Agroindbank” şi „Victoriabank”, BNM va decide referitor la menţinerea sau ridicarea supravegherii intensive după ce va verifica realizarea planurilor de remediere. Conform planului agreat de BNM cu FMI, autoritatea de reglementare va aborda acest subiect în martie 2017. Referindu-se la calitatea managementului corporativ în băncile din RM, guvernatorul a spus că cele mai multe probleme legate de guvernanţa corporativă au la origine problema acţionariatului. Din acest motiv am iniţiat un vast program de identificare şi recertificare a beneficiarilor efectivi în băncile autohtone. Conform angajamentelor incluse în Acordul cu FMI, urmează să identificăm acţionarii în toate băncile până la sfârşitul anului 2017, a spus Cioclea. El susţine că acesta este un proces „complex”, dar „necesar” pentru a schimba cultura de guvernanţă corporativă în Moldova. În paralel, vom promova o politică fermă vizavi de acţionarii sau persoanele care blochează organele de conducere, pentru a evita situaţiile pe care le-am avut în trecut la unele bănci, a subliniat guvernatorul BNM, Sergiu Cioclea.
