Франция настаивает на введении финансового налога

Франция в очередной раз напомнила международному сообществу о необходимости введения налога на финансовые операции, который способен значительно снизить возникновение необоснованных рисков в финансовой и банковской индустрии, и сборы от которого могут быть направлены на программы развития экономики наиболее слабо развитых стран мира и на программы сохранения окружающей среды. По словам французского министра финансов и экономики Кристины Лагард, Германия полностью разделяет планы введения данного налога и внимательно изучает пути практического воплощения такого решения, в то время как США до сих пор выступают против введения подобных решений налоговой политики. Канцлер Германии Ангела Меркель по окончании встречи со своим австрийским коллегой Вернером Файманом подтвердила, что Германия и Австрия не собираются снимать с повестки дня вопрос о введении налога на транзакции. “Мы обсудили возможные пути улучшения Пакта стабильности и роста, – заявила Меркель, – И я могу вам сказать, что мы оба полностью согласны, что этим нужно заняться как можно быстрее”. Канцлер Австрии Файман, в свою очередь, заявил, что “в период банковского кризиса налогоплательщики, поддержав пакеты помощи финансовому сектору, предотвратили развитие событий по апокалиптическому сценарию. Вот почему введение данного налога оправдано с моральной точки зрения”.
